Complete this online form to express interest in joining the Alliance for Strong Families and Communities Organizational Advancement Resource Solutions (OARS) Advisory Committee.

The OARS Advisory Committee is dedicated to guiding the Alliance’s efforts to build the fundraising and resource development capacities of the Alliance network. Committee members do this by leading and facilitating the discussions and activities of the OARS Alliance Peer Exchange (APEX). It is expected that committe member participate in:

  • Two 1.5-day meetings in Milwaukee each year (expenses are not reimbursed by the Alliance)
  • Two 1.5-hour conference call planning sessions each year
  • Additional conference calls scheduled as necessary
  • Webinars, Alliance member telephone consultation, and other OARS APEX activities (as committee members’ schedules permit)

Note: Annual philanthropy goal and operating budgets are for reference only. To ensure diverse perspectives, the OARS Advisory Committee seeks representatives from every size organization and development operation.

  • Event planning
  • Relationship and partnership cultivation
