To help Alliance members accelerate their workforce development programming and provide employment opportunities to people in their communities, the Alliance has formed a partnership and launched a pilot project with QuestMark, a division of Centimark Corporation. For the pilot project, the Alliance will match strong member organizations with local QuestMark offices in targeted markets to develop local partnerships and build employment pipelines for community members seeking meaningful career opportunities.

The National Center for Innovation and Excellence, together with Alliance for Strong Families and Communities member Brevard Family Partnership and Brevard C.A.R.E.S., is hosting an intensive wraparound training institute May 15-18, 2017 in Melbourne, Florida.
The Community Letter in Support of Nonpartisanship, signed by the Alliance for Strong Families and Communities, members of the Alliance strategic action network, and thousands of social sector organizations, is being delivered to members of Congress today. The letter urges Congress to maintain the current law that protects 501(c)(3) organizations from divisive partisan politics. The provision is often referred to as the “Johnson Amendment.”
