The Alliance Board of Directors is comprised of selected chief executives of member organizations and volunteers, recruited for their unique skills, high level of expertise, and national profile.

Directors have a variety of responsibilities such as strategic planning and recognizing opportunities to leverage the Alliance’s assets, including its community development financial institution and social enterprise. The Alliance's board committees and advisory and steering committees support this work.
