In a year like 2020, the Alliance realized the pandemic and civil unrest necessitated a deeper look at the root causes of policy issues and our work. Because of this, we decided to re-evaluate our policy efforts over the past months, especially as we prepare for changes in government in early 2021.
With this being said, the Alliance is pleased to share our updated 2020-2022 Federal Public Policy Agenda and our Blueprint for Strong Families and Communities: Public Policy Platform. These documents have been updated with significant input from Alliance members with a goal of ensuring we are more clearly articulating our policy work from a race equity lens. This new policy agenda and blueprint will shape our approach and priorities as we advocate with a new Congress and President in 2021.
We look forward to partnering with our network on these advocacy efforts and encourage you to review the changes.
