Webinar Description
This webinar will discuss key provisions in the new CARES Act, which was passed by Congress and signed into law on Friday, March 27. The Alliance, in partnership with other national nonprofit organizations and national coalitions, has been advocating for the inclusion of nonprofits in this COVID-19 relief and economic stimulus package.
This webinar will feature a brief overview of our advocacy and mobilization efforts and the biggest wins for the sector. The Alliance policy team will provide updates on the key provisions that provide financial relief to the sector including new loan opportunities (SBA 7a, SBA EIDL, loans for orgs with 500+ employees), new charitable giving incentives, tax credits, appropriations for key programs, and more.
There also will be time for discussion of additional federal policy challenges that organizations are experiencing and ideas for the next legislative package that may be developed in April to aid with the impact of COVID-19.
Join the new online discussion forum for members to pose questions and share solutions related to the potential health impact and business disruptions resulting from COVID-19.
