Position Summary
POSITION: Functional Family Therapist I-II DEPARTMENT: Clinical Outpatient Pay Grade: 5/6 Salary: $38,000.00 - $47,000.00 (Starting salary depends on licensure and experience.) RESPONSIBILITIES: The Functional Family Therapist I-II applies the Functional Family Therapy (FFT) model in their work, including participation in ongoing consultation with FFT LLC and the treatment team. The Functional Family Therapy model is an in-home and evidence based model that allows flexible hours. This position work with clients and families in a manner that demonstrates immediate responsiveness to family needs and maintaining a strength-based relational focus. Persistent outreach efforts may be required. Works autonomously and utilizes strong management skills while remaining flexible in changing environments. The FFT Therapist I-II utilizes the CSS system to document services and to plan treatment according to the FFT model as well as other systems required, such as MyAvatar, to manage confidential client information. Assures quality service for clients by addressing core issues within the family that contributed to the reasons for referral. Maintains agency credibility by establishing working relationships with sponsoring, advisory, and related service agencies via positive and timely communication. The FFT Therapist I-II promotes the agency by ensuring an understanding of program services available for clients, publicizing activities and accomplishments and adhering to a professional code of ethics. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by participating in workshops, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks. This therapist will serve Douglas County, Johnson County, Wyandotte County and Kansas Counties to the north and west of Wyandotte County such as Leavenworth and Atchison Counties. Caseloads are a maximum of 12 clients. QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a Master’s degree and professional licensure (e.g. LMSW, LCSW, LSCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMFT, etc.). One (1) to three (3) years of experience is required. The ideal candidate will be creative, flexible, have a high level of integrity, work well autonomously and have excellent time management skills. Must pass background check, physical and drug screening. This position also requires a valid driver’s license and proof of current vehicle insurance.
