In today’s competitive job market, community-based human services organizations must continue to explore new opportunities for attracting new talent and for building a workplace that is reflective of the diverse communities in which we live and serve. Building off of the challenges uncovered and solutions designed at the Innovation Design Summit: Building a 21st Century Social Sector Workforce in November 2017, the 2018 HR Executive Roundtable will address but is not limited to the following discussion topics:
- Staff recruitment and retention strategies
- Leveraging multi-generational talent
- Creating an equitable workforce
- Human services workforce trends that promote employee engagement
- Leadership development for staff
Attendees will also have an opportunity to engage in additional discussion on top of mind challenges and opportunities with their peers.
The Alliance for Strong Families and Communities' HR Executive Roundtable is the premier peer learning and networking opportunity for human resources executives at human-serving organizations. The roundtable’s sessions are delivered by colleagues and industry thought leaders who understand the unique challenges and opportunities of nonprofit organizations.
