Leadership Award Winner Formed Partnerships To Bring Voice, Opportunity, and Hope

It was wonderful to see, at the 2013 Alliance  National Conference Oct. 17, the tribute to Marsha Edwards, president and CEO of the Martha O’Bryan Center in Nashville, as she was named the recipient of the 2013 Peter B. Goldberg ARAMARK Building Community Executive Leadership Award.

Marsha received this honor from ARAMARK, the Alliance for Children and Families, and United Neighborhood Centers of America (UNCA) in recognition of her innovative and inspirational work on behalf of community centers and her commitment to neighborhood revitalization. The Martha O’Bryan Center receives a $40,000 grant as part of the award. … more

Center on Engagement and Community Building Will Teach Us Authenticity
