HHS Webinar: Home Visiting and Substance Abuse

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Children’s Bureau is sponsoring a webinar for home visiting programs and partner organizations Thursday, Sept. 22 from 2-3:30 p.m. CT titled "Partnerships and Collaboration in Home Visiting: Critical Issues in Serving Families with Substance Use Disorders."
The webinar will address issues regarding the important linkages between substance abuse treatment and home visiting programs. Attendees also will learn about key partners that support positive outcomes for families.

Katherine Astrich is senior vice president of public policy and mobilization for the Alliance and UNCA.
She previously worked as a consultant for The Lewin Group, a national health and human services consulting firm. She has advocated for Medicaid, early education, and workforce assistance programs that benefit vulnerable children and families.
