New Severson Center Favorite Resource: PerformWell
PerformWell is a collaborative effort initiated by Urban Institute, Child Trends, and Social Solutions.
PerformWell provides measurement tools and practical knowledge that human services professionals can use to manage their programs’ day-to-day performance. Information in PerformWell leverages research-based findings that have been synthesized and simplified by experts in the field. By providing information and tools to measure program quality and outcomes, PerformWell helps human services practitioners deliver more effective social programs.
The website offers assessments on more than 167 outcome categories, including civic and community engagement, employment, housing, health, and psychological and emotional development; and more than 128 program categories such as child and youth development and education and training. It also provides sections to help drill into specific outcomes and indicators, interpret results, and improve service delivery.
