Haynes Family of Programs Becomes New Alliance Member

Haynes Family of Programs in La Verne, California, has joined the Alliance for Strong Families and Communities. Specializing in treatment and educational services for children, its focus areas include special needs relating to emotional development, autism, Asperger’s Disorder, learning disabilities, and neglect and abandonment.

Motivated by their mission to strengthen the minds and spirits of children with emotional problems and special learning difficulties, Haynes Family of Programs provides educational resources for children who, for reasons of psychiatric, emotional, behavior, or learning challenges, cannot attend a regular public school.

Additional services provided by the organization include residential treatment for foster care children and recently emancipated youth, as well as therapies provided in home and community settings.

In its over 60 years of service, Haynes Family of Programs has grown from an operation serving a small group of children into one of the largest and most comprehensive nonprofit organizations of its kind.

Daniel Maydeck, CEO, leads the organization.
