Call Congress about Health Care this Week
Congress will vote this week on legislation that will begin to repeal major portions of the Affordable Care Act. Without a replacement, their actions could result in nearly 30 million people, including 4 million children, losing health coverage by 2019, and cause ripple effects for health and human service sectors.
Members of 115th Congress need to hear from you, urging them to develop a comprehensive replacement proposal for the Affordable Care Act.
Where to Call
Call 202-224-3121 to connect with the U.S. Capitol’s switchboard, and follow the easy prompts to connect with the members of your congressional delegation. Separate phone calls will need to be made to reach each member.
Please do not repeal the Affordable Care Act in whole or in part without an alternative that ensures access to affordable, high-quality health care and supports that lead to stronger, healthier children, families, adults, and communities. We urge you to do the hard work needed to develop a comprehensive replacement proposal that will keep the country’s health system moving forward.
The Alliance for Strong Families and Communities urges you to take the few minutes required to call both of your U.S. senators and your representative(s). Forward this action alert to your board, staff, and community partners.
