Profession-Specific Email Groups

The Alliance for Children and Families facilitates peer-to-peer networking among staff at Alliance member organizations through Community of Practice email groups which are hosted by GoogleGroups.

Community of Practice groups are organized around specific areas of professional responsibility. This creates opportunities for:

• Networking with peers across the country
• Sharing specialized knowledge, resources, and ideas
• Generating solutions to challenges that affect specific functions within an organization

All staff at Alliance member organizations may join Community of Practice email groups as a complimentary benefit of membership. 

Community of Practice email groups are organized around the following professional responsibilities and program areas:

Policies, practices, and other materials shared through these email groups may be added to the Alliance Severson Center’s DocuShare Database and shared with Alliance member organizations.
