Alliance Peer Exchange Groups

The Alliance for Strong Families and Communities supports networking among staff at member organizations through Alliance Peer Exchange (APEX) groups. APEX groups are communities of human-serving leaders from within the Alliance network who share:

  • A Professional Discipline. Finance, human resources, fund development
  • A Program Orientation. Child welfare, civic engagement
  • An organization Characteristic. Faith-based organizations, small-budget organizations

Peer participants exchange challenges and solutions via the collaboration portal myAlliance, webinars and teleconferences, and in-person meetings, offering leaders the rare opportunity to seek out specialized advice from peers throughout the country.

All staff at Alliance member organizations may join APEX groups as a complimentary benefit of membership.

Join group discussions on myAlliance.

APEX groups are organized around the following areas:

  • Civic engagement
  • Executive Leadership Institute alumni
  • Facilities management
  • Faith-based work
  • Financial management
  • Human resources
  • Organizational advancement
  • Performance excellence
  • Senior leadership
  • Small-budget organization leadership

Policies, practices, and other materials posted to these email groups may be added to the Severson Center's digital collection, and shared with Alliance member organizations.
