We are seeking a talented and compassionate individual to fill an immediate need for a SAP Liaison/D&A Therapist in our Behavioral Health department.

Auberle’s Behavioral Health Department provides a wide range of services to children, adolescents, adults and families. Services include psychiatric, psychological, mental health and substance abuse services through Auberle’s Outpatient Mental Health and Drug & Alcohol licenses.

The SAP Liaison role will involve providing part-time hours in a school setting to help connect children/families with needed supports to promote educational success. The Drug & Alcohol Therapist role will consist of providing part-time hours at Auberle’s 412 Youth Zone serving adolescents and young adults up to 24 years old who are struggling with issues tied to substance abuse and/or addiction.

We are currently seeking a Youth Zone Coach Supervisor to provide leadership to a team of Youth Coaches. They ensure the youth receive high quality relevant programming inside and outside of the Zone. The Supervisor provides direct case management to youth as needed. Supervisors coordinate services with providers and referents. Supervisors provide mobile outreach to provide supports and opportunities for youth who are not currently living in Allegheny County but plan to return and those youth who are not able to travel to the center. Youth Coach Supervisors promote the center and its services throughout the county.

The 412 Youth Zone offers comprehensive, welcoming and youth-oriented services and space for transition age youth with current or past connections to child welfare or who are experiencing homelessness. The 412 Youth Zone helps youth to feel welcomed, safe and supported while offering the services and connections to help them face the challenges of adulthood.

We are seeking a creative, caring individual to fill an immediate opening for a Program Manager in our GOAL (Group Oriented Adolescent Living) Semi-Independent Residential Program.

The GOAL Program is a structured group home within the community that provides life skills, social skills, service planning and support for young men ages 16-20. The primary goal is to prepare the youth for return to their home community or to independent living. This position requires a flexible schedule including evenings and occasional weekends.

The Program Manager provides the central leadership and oversight of a safe, trauma-informed structured program designed to meet the needs of the adolescent male population. This position directly supervises all youth care workers assigned to the program and is responsible for the performance, training and professional development of assigned staff. On-call duties are required in a weekly rotation among nine leaders.

Auberle is currently seeking a Housing Resource Coordinator to implement and coordinate a Rapid Re-Housing Program. This position works collaboratively with the Auberle leadership team, representatives from Allegheny County Department of Human Services, the Allegheny County Housing Advisory Board (HAB), HUD Continuum of Care (CoC) representatives and others as needed.

This individual is responsible to identify housing opportunities, establish working relationships with landlords and manage all program operations and budget. This Coordinator reports to the 412 Youth Zone Director in the Wood Street Commons in Pittsburgh. This leadership position will also coordinate/manage future housing programming opportunities via additional housing grants and contracts. The Housing Resource Coordinator serves as a support to all Auberle programming by providing housing expertise and assistance.

The Development Department is a highly effective team that works to raise awareness, funds and friends to adequately advance the mission of Auberle. The Volunteer, Marketing and Communications Coordinator supports agency marketing and communication efforts while maintaining a consistent volunteer program that supports the needs of the organization. This position reports to the Director of Development/Director of Special Projects and the CEO.

The Volunteer, Marketing and Communications Coordinator is a highly energetic individual that plays a large role in maintaining our volunteer program and assists the Marketing, Communications and Events Manager. This position requires strong management and organizational skills and the ability to:

  • Support the Development Department to ensure departmental goals are met through positive and productive interaction with current and prospective volunteers; help achieve department overall and unrestricted fundraising goals.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills and works to develop, administer, and review policies and procedures which guide the volunteer program to reflect the overall mission of the organization
  • Plan and implement volunteer recognition activities to recognize the contribution of volunteers to the organization.
  • Communicate with the Marketing, Communications and Events Manager to manage various marketing efforts, including, but not limited to creating e-mail blasts, publishing blog posts, developing content for social media and website.
  • Be the first point of entry for individual and corporate cultivation efforts and act as a contributing member of the Development Department.

The Development Associate plays an important role by executing foundation requests, annual appeals, strategies to steward relationships with investors and participating in all fundraising activities, including marketing, communications and events. This position reports to the Director of Special Projects/Development.

The Development Associate is a self-motivated team player that assists the Development Department in fulfilling the development activities of the organization. This position requires strong writing skills and the ability to:

  • Support the Director of Development to ensure departmental goals are met through positive and productive interaction; helps team achieve overall and unrestricted fundraising goals.
  • Demonstrate strong writing skills and serve as principal grant writer including, but not limited to, conducting preliminary research on prospective corporate, foundation and federal funding opportunities, prepare proposals and follow-up reports and maintain all foundation files.
  • Communicate and participate in all stewardship activities to recognize all donors, as agreed upon with the Director of Development, to drive their cultivation and engagement with Auberle.
  • Be a contributing member of the Development Department.
