The Development Department is a highly effective team that works to raise awareness, funds and friends to adequately advance the mission of Auberle. The Volunteer, Marketing and Communications Coordinator supports agency marketing and communication efforts while maintaining a consistent volunteer program that supports the needs of the organization. This position reports to the Director of Development/Director of Special Projects and the CEO.

The Volunteer, Marketing and Communications Coordinator is a highly energetic individual that plays a large role in maintaining our volunteer program and assists the Marketing, Communications and Events Manager. This position requires strong management and organizational skills and the ability to:

  • Support the Development Department to ensure departmental goals are met through positive and productive interaction with current and prospective volunteers; help achieve department overall and unrestricted fundraising goals.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills and works to develop, administer, and review policies and procedures which guide the volunteer program to reflect the overall mission of the organization
  • Plan and implement volunteer recognition activities to recognize the contribution of volunteers to the organization.
  • Communicate with the Marketing, Communications and Events Manager to manage various marketing efforts, including, but not limited to creating e-mail blasts, publishing blog posts, developing content for social media and website.
  • Be the first point of entry for individual and corporate cultivation efforts and act as a contributing member of the Development Department.
