Monsignor Robert Harris
Monsignor Robert Harris served as president & CEO of Alliance for Children and Families member St. Vincent’s Services in Brooklyn, N.Y. for 45 years. He retired in October 2012.
He has a wealth of experience and is an active spokesperson for the human services sector. He currently serves as president of the Catholic Federation of Social Service Agencies of Brooklyn and Queens. He also is a board member of the Council of Family and Child Caring Agencies, an Alliance member state association in New York.
In 1988, Harris received the Joseph Weber Award from the United Way of New York City for the Best Managed Social Service Agency.
He earned degrees from St. Vincent College, Fordham University, and St. John’s University.
