Executive Leadership Co-Sponsors

The Alliance for Strong Families and Communities Executive Leadership Institute is co-sponsored by the University of Michigan’s School of Social Work and Ross School of Business. It is hosted on the university’s campus.

Staff from both schools are among the individuals who serve as faculty for the institute.

School of Social Work

The School of Social Work is known for its national and international leadership, innovative curriculum, and high-quality scholarship and research.

Through innovative curriculum and numerous partnerships, it translates expertise into policies and practices that benefit individuals and society.

The school pursues research that leads to new mechanisms for effective interventions, as well as fosters dialogue between academics, practitioners, and policymakers.

Ross School of Business

The Ross School of Business combines exclusive action-based learning opportunities with exceptional faculty to offer top-ranked educational programs.

Its curriculum blends hands-on learning with interdisciplinary, team-orientated education experiences to encourage students to become business leaders, rather than business managers.

According to a survey conducted by The Wall Street Journal and Harris Interactive, recruiters ranked Ross School of Business first in the nation. Additionally, its executive MBA program has been ranked fourth in the world by BusinessWeek.
