Alliance Grant-Funded Programs
The Alliance for Children and Families advances the human services industry through several grant-funded initiatives. These programs build the capacities of Alliance members and other organizations by:
- Regranting funds to Alliance members
- Offering webinars and workshops
- Publishing articles and reports
- Developing and vetting tools and resources
Grant-funded programs are housed within the Alliance Intellectual Capital Division.
Civic Engagement Program
The civic engagement program encourages Alliance members to work for social change that improves the lives of vulnerable children and families.
New Age of Aging Initiative
The initiative aims to provide a comprehensive response within the human service industry to the dramatic demographic change associated with the 70 million American adults who will reach age 65 by 2029.
Strategy Counts! Initiative
The initiative is designed to encourage Alliance members to elevate the role of strategy in their work. It is based on the belief that a greater focus on strategy increases the probability of creating stronger, more sustainable organizations. In turn, higher performing organizations are capable of sustaining more effective services and greater community impact.
